Could This Be The X2?

Engadget have been tipped off as to an alleged picture of a forthcoming Xperia handset from Sony Ericsson. A second Xperia handset has long been expected given that Xperia was intended to be a brand ather than just a single device.

The handset, purpotedly ‘Vulcan’ or the X2, will presumably be running Windows Mobile given the appearance of a Window key in the picture. The image itself isn’t the sharpest, but Engadget puts this down to their anonymous tipster having blanked out the hanset’s surroundings. Engadget think the picture credible and to be fair it would make sense especially if it is running WinMo given how much of an effort Sony Ericsson put into promoting the panels interface for the X1.
