News, Nokia, Symbian OS — By MR on May 21, 2009 at 11:11
From today Google Sync for mobile is also available for Nokia S60 smartphones, which mean you can now synchronize your Google Contacts and Calendars with your mobile phone. Every phone supporting Mail for Exchange has the ability to use Google Sync.
Google Sync offers you two-way over-the-air synchronization of Contacts and Calendar items from within Gmail account. It will mean that you can change any contact or add any agenda item to your phone or Gmail account. Both will always be synced with each other. The push technology ensures that changes appear within minutes.

To use Google Sync with your Nokia S60 smartphone, you need to install Mail for Exchange, used for Microsoft Exchange. The latest version can be found via the Nokia Business website. Google Sync works best with version 2.09 (also called 2.9) or above. You can visit the website from your phone or your desktop. Downloading and using the application is free of charge, depending on your provider data plan.
