Google Voice iPhone App Rejected

The Google Voice app for the iPhone has been rejected by Apple. The reason given was that it duplicated existing features, which to be fair it basically does, but this then leaves the iPhone short of Google Voice in comparison to Android and Blackberry users who can enjoy Google goodness.
The reasoning behind the rejection also doesn’t bode well for the recently submitted Spotify music app, which also duplicates features already offered by Apple themselves e.g. serving up music. Never say never though…
