LG GD510 PopLG has unveiled their latest touchphone; the GD510 Pop – the thinest 3-inch touchscreen phone ever made. The compact phone is the successor of the popular KP500 Cookie.

The handset got a high profile design and features which suggest a mid-end price tag. The brushed alumnium frame and extra thin bezel around the screen give the Pop a rather distinctive and business look.

The GD510 packs a 3-inch touchscreen with WQVGA resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, 8GB of internal memory and a 3.0 megapixel camera with video recording. There is no flash on the back of the phone.

Full specifications are not available at this moment. We can only show the pictures and a video of the new Korean handset. Three of those product pictures show us an unique back cover with a build-in solar panel. The back cover will be optional next to the phone and will add a “green” character to the story behind the phone.
