LG to Launch App Store

Another day, another app store. This time it’s LG jumping on the bandwagon.

Yes that’s right LG have decided that the downloadable app market needs one more service and thus they’re launching one in Asia with a UK version to follow by the end of the year. It’s the usual deal, some free apps, some not so free. Initially we’re looking at around 1,400 apps with around 100 being free. By the time the service makes an appearance in the UK we should be looking at somewhere in the region of 2,000 apps being available.
