LG logoThe announcement is due for August, but we can show the first pictures of the new Black Label handset; the BL40. We saw this device before in a video published on YouTube. The spy shots published by telefon-treff show us the real deal.

The long chocolate look-a-like bar shaped phone runs the latest version of the S-Class UI. The 21:9 ratio widescreen touchscreen has a 800 x 345 pixels resolution and needed a different setup of the new UI. Especially because its aspect ratio. It will support GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA and packs a 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, video recording and several camera features. Wi-Fi, FM-transmitter and a FM-radio are available too. You even get 335MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot.

One of the pictures shows a second device similar in design, but with a shorter display and shorter form factor. Rather interesting, perhaps there are two devices within the new Black Label line-up.
