WebOS 1.2 available for Palm Pre

The next step in the Web OS software has been released for the Palm Pre. Version 1.2.0 is available for download. The most important new features are mentioned below:
- Palm Synergy includes LinkedIn contact syncing. Info from LinkedIn profiles (like job titles) will now appear in your Palm Pre contacts.
- The ability to filter emails in the current folder just by typing a search term
- The ability to download files in the browser
- The Amazon MP3 Store can now download songs from either WiFi or WAN
- Tap a phone number in a calendar note to dial it
- Pause a podcast and, by default, pick up where you left off when you unpause
- Web pages and emails are now cut-and-paste-able.
The update is available in the upcoming days. The Palm Pre will launch in the UK as an O2 exclusive on 16 October.
